Technology-based financing access for farmers
An award-winning agrifintech start-up leveraging technology to address the financing gaps that farmers face. We won the first-ever Glovo-Esade tech-based competition in Kenya, in which 100 Kenyan start-ups took part. We also took first place in the agritech category of the Global small business awards 2022 in the United Kingdom.
Farmers' capital disparity is a widespread issue in emerging markets, and Kenya and East Africa are no exception. Farmers face difficulties in obtaining financing from financial institutions since they have no employment and credit records, despite the fact that they possess livestock, which has an intrinsic worth and is regarded as a security by the law. Imfuyo Usajili is in the business of opening credit for farmers by obtaining information on farmers and animals.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
It is a great feeling to be taught by Imfuyo officers about their services of cow tagging, valuation, and financial services. 9 of our cows at our farm, JJ Farm, have already received services from this great organization. We are happy
Ear tagging is a very important move because it will save us from marking our cows on the skin which has been a common practice and has affected the value of the skin. We are also happy to welcome Imfuyo to do business in Narok
Africa needs a strong team, driven and inspired by the hunger and thirst of solving local problems with local homegrown solutions. At Imfuyo we are keen to deliver value to our farmers and partners across Africa
